  • The mission of the Calaveras Wellness Foundation is to fill health care gaps in the county. Those gaps are identified by various community health needs assessments. The assessments identify behavioral health care, substance use disorder, and access to health care services as the biggest challenges. Foundation donations are used to provide those services. Donations are also used to assist health care workers who are struggling either financially or physically. Donations can be “restricted” to specific interests or projects on request.

  • The Calaveras Wellness Foundation was founded in 2023 because members of our community wanted to give back. They wanted to support and sustain the health care we have. They also wanted to contribute to new facilities, senior services, and youth services. The Foundation provides a platform to accept and distribute donations.

For example if you were to donate to construction of a new youth center, you, your family, or organization could be recognized publicly, or remain anonymous. For more information about confidentiality and/or acknowledgement please contact (209) 754-2512.
